ROME, New York (CNN) -- Woodstock '99 organizers have added four more acts to their three-day summer festival. Now on the rundown are Wyclef Jean and the Refugee Allstars; Our Lady Peace; Jamiroquai; and former Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart and his Planet Drum band.

So far, 35 acts have been signed to perform at the 30th anniversary event, which is set for July 23-25 at the former Griffiss Air Force Base. Among the other groups scheduled to perform so far are the Dave Matthews Band, Jewel, Metallica, Alanis Morissette, Counting Crows and Sheryl Crow. Tickets go on sale Sunday. They're $150 each.

Spacey perfoming in "The Iceman Cometh"

NEW YORK (CNN) -- The Drama Desk critics have released the group's nominations for the best of the New York theater season -- and two of the season's most talked about productions were left out in the cold.

Kevin Spacey's critically praised "The Iceman Cometh" and Nicole Kidman's "The Blue Room" have both been snubbed by the organization.

Nominated for best play are "Betty's Summer Vacation," "Closer," "Not About Nightingales," "The Ride Down Mt. Morgan," "Snakebit" and "Wit." Winners are to be announced May 9. The Drama Desk includes both Broadway and off-Broadway productions in its award considerations.

"There's Something About Mary"

NEW YORK (CNN) -- "There's Something About Mary" was considered worth nothing about Oscars by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. But MTV is offering consolation.

The network has announced that the Ben Stiller-Cameron Diaz comedy has drawn eight nominations for the MTV Movie Awards, including best movie. The film leads all competitors in nominations. Stiller and Diaz are also nominated for best on-screen duo and best kiss, and they'll compete against each other in the category of best comedic performance.

Among the other nominees for best kiss: Jeremy Irons and Dominique Swain in "Lolita"; and Matt Dillon, Denise Richards and Neve Campbell in "Wild Things." Also nominated for best movie are Oscar winner "Shakespeare in Love," "Saving Private Ryan," "Armageddon" and "The Truman Show."

PARIS (CNN) -- New U.S. directors have failed to make the cut for a key competition at next month's Cannes Film Festival. It's called the International Critics Week sidebar and it provides a sort of research-and-development window for the film industry, only programming directors' first and second films.

In what he describes as "one of the toughest years I can remember in terms of finding quality films," Critics Week programmer Jean Roy says he found "a complete lack of originality among the young American directors. They seem to be either turning out pale copies of earlier American films or deriving their style from watching hours of television."

No American films will be included in the event this year. Seven films will be presented: John Polson's "Siam Sunset," Elise McCredie's "Strange Fits of Passion," Lazar Ristovski's "Belo Odelo," Iciar Bollain's "Flowers From Another World," Wataru Hayakawa's "7/25," Philip Davis' "Hold Back the Night," and Serdar Akar's "On Board."

Bono

INDIO, California (CNN) -- A judge in Indio, California, has ruled that the Washoe County, Nevada, coroner must turn over a blood sample containing Sonny Bono's DNA so that Sean Machu, 35, of Marina Del Rey can have a chance to prove he's the late Bono's son.

The ruling stems from a dispute over the estate of the singer-turned-congressman who died in a skiing accident in January 1998. Machu and Bono's ex-wife Cher both are claiming at least part of the $1.66 million estate. Court papers filed in the Riverside County courthouse show that Cher filed a claim against the estate last fall, alleging that her ex-husband owed her back alimony payments, the New York Daily News reported Tuesday. No amount was stipulated in the documents.

Machu, who wants to be included in the dividing of the estate, says he'll give up his claim if the DNA doesn't match. He's already drawn blood to test against Bono's sample. Machu's birth certificate of April 10, 1964, lists Mimi Georgette Machu as his mother and Salvatore Bono, a 29-year-old self-employed record producer, as his father.

Bono admitted having an affair with a woman named "Mimi" in his autobiography, "The Beat Goes On." Bono wrote in his book that he didn't argue against the claim by "Mimi" that he fathered her son and paid a settlement.
